THAT didn’t take long. Danyel and I are still plodding along, and getting the hang of this podcast thing. And its already rolling out like a bad Lifetime movie. Watch out, BillsMafia.
In this week’s Mafia Maven’s podcast, we explored some hot… and some not so hot takes… from Twitter… about all things Buffalo Bills. Not surprisingly, our podcast is already evolving into something much more than we intended, thanks to those of you who have given us some great feedback. Keep it coming @TheMafiaMavens.
Our goal is to be positive role models and good citizens on social media. We aim to serve as an example about how people can debate differences of opinion in a constructive and respectful manner. We promote respectful dialogue, albeit sometimes swear like sailors at the inevitable foibles by the Bills during any given podcast.
But most of all, our goal with the Mafia Mavens podcast is to share our mutual passion for the Buffalo Bills. It begins and ends with love for what BillsMafia really represents; a core of compassionate people who persevere like no other fan base in sports. Addiitonally, our podcast is hopefully a reflection about how technology has changed the world for Bills fans living outside Western New York.
A woman in Pennsylvania and an old gas bag from Wyoming get together once a week for 30 minutes on the internet and share some giggles about the Bills. Ain’t life grand?
We hope you enjoy listening to our babble and consider subscribing to our podcast, wherever in the digital universe you do these sorts of things. If you’d like help us promote our joyful adventures in cyberspace, we would also greatly appreciate a review on Apple Podcasts or wherever you find your podcasts.
And finally…. watch out, Buffalo. I’m coming to town next Saturday to see the Bills ‘squish the fish’ on Oct. 20th.., and of course, for a Buffalo Sabres game as well. I hope to meet as many of you reading this as possible. If not this time… maybe next time… somewhere down the wagon trail.
Stay tuned for more jollies. Go Bills!
