When the Buffalo Bills take on the Detroit Lions in Week 5, there will be a new quarterback under center. Doug Marrone announced today that Kyle Orton will be the starting quarterback for the Buffalo Bills.
As for EJ Manuel, Doug Marrone had the following to say:
Marrone: Will give Manuel chance to “step back for a moment.” Says he’ll “need thick skin.”

Regardless of your thoughts on this matter, it’s clear that Doug Marrone is going “all-in” this season. It’s a smart move considering the Bills will be under new ownership in less than two weeks. If the Buffalo Bills struggle, Marrone, Nathaniel Hackett and GM Doug Whaley could all be without jobs. The Bills need to win now and Kyle Orton deserves a chance to prove that he’s the best option for the job.
