BillsMafia Video Podcast: Linemen and Touchdowns and Bears, Oh My!

Anthony Marino and Ryan Talbot talk about the end of the preseason and look forward to start of the regular reason in the latest BillsMafia podcast.

The two (quickly) discuss the short-lived Jordan Palmer era and discuss the importance of signing Kyle Orton. Both men agree that Orton gives the Bills a credible backup, someone who can push EJ Manuel and most importantly, someone who could step in and play at a high level if need be.

Marino and Talbot also discussed Buffalo’s captains for the 2014 NFL season. Both agree that Manuel not being named a captain is a non-story. The team has leaders such as running backĀ Fred Jackson, linemen Eric Wood, Kyle Williams and Mario Williams and newcomers Brandon Spikes and Corey Graham who have earned the role.

Also on the podcast: Marino and Talbot talk about C.J. Spiller being the team’s kick returner, what worries them most about the Chicago Bears and Talbot gives his final score prediction on the game. All this and more in this week’s BillsMafia Video Podcast: Linemen and Touchdowns and Bears, Oh My!
